Instructions
1. Articles. Articles must have been presented as part of a legal continuing legal presentation (CLE), in a legal journal, or be of similar quality, be of current interest to litigators and related legal professionals, and published in the last three years.
2. Length. Articles should be of a substantial length, generally 1,000 words or more. Please do not submit 'Alerts', 'Client updates', newsletters or similar materials that have limited content or a promotional focus.
3. Static Location. Include only articles that you expect to remain at this link location for a while.
4. Description. Keep descriptions to a couple of sentences (no more than 350 words) and in professional format. Try to include principal keywords so that our search will be more effective.
5. Test URL. Please test your URL before submitting. URL should be in the form: 'http://www.yoursite.com/article.htm' (without the ''; note that 'http://' or 'https://' must be included at the beginning of the URL).
6. Year Written. For the article date, include the year it was most recently published or updated.
7. Applicable Law. Select the most appropriate applicable law addressed in the article.
8. Published. Please indicate the journal, magize or other location where the article was published. For articles only internally, you can indicate this as 'Law Firm'.
9. Category. Please select the most appropriate category. If we need to add a new category, let us know.
10. Approval. After submission your article will be held in an approval que, generally for a day or less.
11. Permission. Make sure that you have appropriate permission to include an article link in Litilaw.

Submit your Article for Hosting
If you would like to add your article to Litilaw and it is not hosted on the internet, you can send it to us at and, if it meets our requirements, we will host it on our servers and add it to Litilaw. Simply send us and email with your article as an attachment (PDF format preferred). We will treat your request as your representation that you have authority to post the article.
